Regression Modeling for Prediction of Earned Value Indexes in Public Building Construction Projects: The case of Ethiopia

The construction industry is the sector involved with repair of buildings and civil engineering structures in an economy. Public building projects are constructed repeatedly, also it becomes difficult to complete stated period estimated cost project. Thus, study was focused on regression modeling for prediction earned value indexes public projects. model used as a data analysis method increase accuracy standard evaluation project performance. built ten sets database gathering between 2019 2022 through case collection instrument from cities, Ministry Construction Housing, consultants, contractors. made by using statistical package social science Microsoft excels tool. It found that can predict excellent rank correlation coefficient (R) performance index model, schedule 88.80%, 95.90%, 96.60%, 91.40%, respectively, determination (R2) 78.90%, 91.90%, 93.20%, 83.40%, respectively. Finally, be recommended conducted its practicality predicting indexes.
